Copper Bromide vapor laser  is applied in research, medicine, navigation and light dynamic systems.

 

Principle of operation

Copper Bromide vapor laser belongs to self-contained lasers operating on transitions between resonant and metastable levels in metal atomsamd ions.

 

Merits

Unlike Russian and foreigh analogs, the laser suggested has a power supply based not on thyratron but on IGBT-transistors that extends service life and sufficiently decreases laser cost. The laser power supply has a patent of Russian Federation.

The gas-discharge tube has been developed by specialists from the Institute of Atmospheric Optics SB RAS.
