Purpose

Reforestation, creation of corn-bearing trees' plantations, recultivation of defective and polluted areas, settlement gardening, landscape design.

 

Characteristics

Seedlings with a closed root system in polyethylene containers filled with a special substrate (mixture of mycorrhizal soil, peat, sand, organic and mineral fertilizers and other components). Size of a container, a seedling height and a substrate composition are variable depending on a purpose. In addition to ordinary seedlings, there are grafted ones of our own breeding. Early-maturing, high yield, cobby, large-seeded specimens with a fine nut shell are intended for corn-bearing trees'plantations; decorative specimens with unusual crown and needle color are for elite landscape design.

 

Merits

A seedling is light, compact and suitable for packing and transporting for any distances. Planting is efficient in the period from April to November. An establishment guaranteed is 95-99%. Using seedlings with a closed root system improves gardening efficiency, their resistance to unfavorable environment conditions, significantly decreases cost. The grafted seedlingshave no analogs neither in Russia nor abroad. Corn-bearing specimens provide superiorityover ordinary seedlings in early yield, crop-producing power and nut quality.

 

A large-scale production of seedlings with a closed root system is organized  at IMCES SB RAS. We supply seedlings, provide grafters and technology of their use, assert methodical supervision in creation of plantations, sign contracts for creation of landscape objects.
